Larry Thompson - Self Funding Expert

Larry is Regional President of POMCO one of the largest Third Party Administrators in the nation.  He is also Chair of the Self Insurance Institute of America's Government Relations Board and has a team in Washington DC working with the new administration.  Larry brings a Self-Funded expertise to the panel and has unique insights into the current policy-making process.  

 

Rory Akers  - Compliance Expert

Before joining Lockton in June 2016 as an ERISA compliance attorney, Rory worked as a Senior Investigator for the US Department of Labor – Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA). During her time with EBSA, Rory conducted complex investigations involving employee benefit plans, service providers, third-party administrators, and other financial institutions to determine compliance with civil and criminal statutes.
