The Northern California Employee Benefits Council (NCEBC) is proud to present a multi-part Innovation Series to highlight innovative companies in our industry that will help move us forward into the future.

Part 4: Fursure

Fursure is a pet insurance platform for pet parents to buy insurance, manage policies, and submit claims. Licensed in 50 states and D.C., we help pet parents across the US find the best option to protect their dogs and cats by analyzing hundreds of options to deliver a simple, tailored plan. We’re excited to bring personalization and transparency to the pet health insurance space. Pet insurance is one of the most requested perks from employees to their employers, and a rapidly increasing number of companies now offer it as a benefit to attract and retain top talent. Fursure enables employers to offer pet insurance at no cost to them, to give pet-owning employees confidence in protecting their whole family.

Catherine Dennig is the cofounder and CEO of Fursure, a pet insurance broker for pet parents. Based in the Bay Area, Fursure has raised a pre-seed round with angel investors and is rapidly growing. Prior to starting Fursure, Catherine led product teams at Facebook on News Feed and Ads. She helped build and launch ad credit, a sustainable growth lever for Facebook. Before that, she started a company while at Princeton University. Fursure's cofounders Keji Xu and Catherine Dennig met freshman year at Princeton. Keji spent 4 years at Amazon before cofounding Fursure with Catherine.
